Hello World let me introduce myself!

Hi! My name is Stephanie, manager of the Hutt Hostel which is located in the beautiful seaside town of Newcastle, County Down. I am the person who takes your bookings, cleans your room, meets and greets you and makes sure your stay is comfortable. I recently took up the post as the manager in September 2015 after gaining my honours in International Hotel Management and have never looked back since! I have always loved working with the public as you never know who or what to expect and this cannot be any truer when working in a hostel! I have met more people from all over the world than I have working in a hotel or hoping onto plane; hostels are pretty much tiny little sociable global villages all connecting under one roof! This has definitely got to be the most favourite part of my job, getting to meet all these lovely people from all over the world. What also amazes me is our guests who have travelled from as far as Brazil, Germany, India, China, and Australia to explore our beautiful Mourne Mountains!! This is me back in October on my way down from The Slieve Donard which is the highest of the Mourne Mountains Peaks. It was a wonderful climb and I hope to do it again with some of you. That’s enough about me now, I can’t wait to hear all about you when you come and stay here at the Hutt Hostel!
